Aligned with the European Union’s ambitious climate goals and commitment to achieving climate neutrality, the European Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (EUSEW) served as a key platform for dialogue, exchange, and progress. Spearheaded by the European Commission, this 19th edition convened policymakers, experts, and stakeholders from across Europe with the objective to shape the continent’s sustainable energy future, highlight achievements and ongoing challenges, and inform citizens on energy efficiency and environmental innovation. Under the theme “Powering a fair and competitive green transition,” the initiative underscores the urgency and inclusivity of Europe’s green transition.
VO Europe supported the 19th edition of EUSEW by delivering an integrated communication campaign and producing a dynamic, high-level, three-day hybrid event. From technical coordination to creative content, VO managed every aspect of the event’s execution. Highlights included the flagship Policy Conference, the Energy Fair, the Sustainable Energy Awards, European Sustainable Energy Days, and the European Youth Energy Day, all contributing to an engaging and impactful programme. These components successfully connected, mobilised, and inspired a broad EUSEW community composed of policy experts, journalists, activists, entrepreneurs, and researchers.
EUSEW 2025 achieved record levels of engagement and visibility, both online and onsite. The event drew over 9,000 participants in total, hosted 60+ sessions, and featured 450+ expert speakers. It fostered meaningful dialogue and enabled impactful connections between stakeholders, bridging high-level policy discussion with tangible best practices across Europe’s green transition. The event’s strong media presence, active community engagement, and dynamic content dissemination contributed to its success and long-term resonance.
