The fourth edition of the European Research and Innovation Days (R&I Days) took place in Brussels on the 28th and the 29th of September 2022 and brought stakeholders together to shape and build a greener, healthier, more inclusive and resilient future.
The EU R&I Days emphasised opportunities to discuss and shape new solutions to strengthening Europe’s resilience and its strategic autonomy, focused on the New European Innovation Agenda, measures to overcome our resource dependence from non-democratic countries and protection for our freedoms.
VO Europe coordinated 43 live policy sessions and three workshops across five studios over the one and half days of the event. We managed 176 speakers (including VIPs) both virtually and onsite. This involved creating show-flows and scripts, welcoming and briefing speakers, and handling the technical aspects of the hybrid activities. We were also responsible for the management of an online event platform. This was a virtual space where participants could watch the livestreamed sessions, consult the programme, network and plan their calendar, as well as rewatch the sessions later.
VO Europe was also responsible for communications around the conference. This included the implementation of a visual identity, video production, copy for the website and platform, and social media buying.
