The European Development Days (EDD) are Europe’s leading forum on international partnerships offering visibility to the latest development of the EU Development and cooperation policy.
The theme of the 2021 edition was ‘The Green Deal for a Sustainable Future’ and revolved around two main themes: ‘A Green Economy for People and Nature’ (Day 1) & ‘Protecting Biodiversity and People’ (Day 2), subsequently divided into 17 topics.
The broadcasting was organised in blocks of half days, with a total of 5 simultaneous live sessions. Each content block was structured according to the different session formats. The formats included High-Level Panels, Agoras, Lab Debates, Project or Report Labs, Stand Interviews, Brainstorming Labs, and results presentations. A total of 119 sessions took place online at the EDD 2021.
We organised the 14th edition of the European Development Days, its first fully digital edition, on 15-16 June 2021. We managed a number of services such as: designing the event concept, the creation of a Project Management Unit, content production (scripts for opening and closing ceremony, videos…), design of the programme, management of infrastructure, logistics and digital space, creation of the Digital Global Village, management of participants, elaboration of the communication strategy and creative campaign, management of the VIPs and the Young Leader programme, artistic direction, management of the speakers and session organisers, management of the carbon offsetting programme.
