Social Media Manager (freelancer)

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager 

Join us as a Social Media Manager and support the preparation, delivery and optimisation of social media activities within integrated EU communication campaigns. You will be responsible for running day-to-day social media campaigns, preparing and publishing content, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements to maximise results.

Working closely with communication, project and policy teams, you will help ensure that social media activities are audience-focused, data-driven and aligned with EU institutional standards and objectives.

 

What you’ll do
  • Prepare, run and optimise social media campaigns across relevant platforms
  • Prepare, adapt and publish social media content in line with campaign objectives and target audiences
  • Monitor and analyse data related to social media campaigns using analytics tools
  • Assist in identifying appropriate social media channels, formats and approaches for different audiences
  • Propose and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement changes to improve campaign results
  • Build, grow and manage online communities through active moderation and engagement
  • Monitor social media channels, online forums and blogs and engage with users to strengthen trust and loyalty
  • Use social media activities and live or hybrid events to support community engagement and participation
  • Contribute to reporting on online activities and campaign performance
  • Support coordination with partners and multipliers and contribute to the distribution of communication materials via dedicated toolkits

Requirements: 
  • Between 2 and 5 years of relevant professional experience 
  • At least C1-level proficiency in English 
  • A knowledge of European projects 
  • Freelance or Open to Freelance Status
