Project Management Internship – NCIA project

We are currently looking for a Project Management intern to join VO Europe.

About The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) project

The NCI Agency is on the frontline against cyber threats, protecting NATO’s networks to prevent debilitating attacks. Their experts provide capabilities and services that are critical to NATO’s ability to fulfil its core tasks of consultation, collective defence and crisis management. They achieve this by working in partnership with industry, academia and not-for-profit (NFP) organizations.

 

🔍Your mission:

  • Support the Project Manager in the day-to-day management of projects
  • Contribute to the organisation of event
  • Be part of an experienced team

 

🎯 Your key responsibilities:

  • Organising meetings & Taking meeting minutes
  • Preparing briefs based on provided documents
  • Tracking project milestones
  • Assisting the Project Management Unit in daily operations
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and team members
  • Help with internal planning: organizing the project managers’ schedule and project design
  • Providing administrative support for Travel and Accommodation (scouting visits + event)
  • Elaboration and presentation of pitches on Cybersecurity (during internal meetings with VO)
  • Engaging in communications activities & exhibitors management
  • Optimising methods of work

 

You will be a good fit for the role if you:

  • Are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s studies in a relevant field (e.g. Project Management, EU Studies, Communication, International Relation etc.)
  • Your English is at least C1 level, and any other European language is an asset
  • Have a problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
  • Any previous experience of supporting events is an additional asset

Compensation:

In accordance with Belgian legal requirements, the internship is unpaid. However, certain expenses will be reimbursed such as public transportation (50€/month) and accommodation for foreign student (max. 300€/month).
