Project Manager

Skills and qualities taken into consideration for the selection process:

  • Experience in events management, communication or marketing
  • Experience in European projects or European politics
  • Must speak English and French at a C2 level minimum, a third European language is an asset
  • Experience on creating and managing budgets from start to finish (excel: pivot tables, budget follow ups)
  • Proficient in MS office, desktop publishing is an asset
  • Team player with strong leadership skills
  • A knack for problem solving
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with customer service orientation
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance the originality of projects
  • Minimum of a bachelor degree
  • More than 5 years of experience in project management

Responsibilities:

  • Plan an event or a communication campaign from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and set objectives
  • Prepare and finalize budgets and ensure adherence
  • Source and negotiate with vendors according to project requirements and needs
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and complies with all client requirements
  • Coordinate project operations
  • Analyze events success and prepare final report
  • Oversee hiring personnel for the event (e.g. hostesses, catering, photographers etc.)
